I only saw one hole that had a smooth bore so I used it to develop a snap ring groove. I just made up some dimensions but you can edit them as needed or place the groove anywhere. You have a few unconstrained sketches you should attend to in your model. Model is attached.

Im very new to fusion 360 and making cad drawings in general so bare with me please. Im trying to draw up a block for multiple fuel lines to go in and out of using an oring fittings, I was able to draw in the threads with no problems but cant figure out how to put the oring groove around the hole for the oring to recess into when you screw the fitting in? I tried to put a chamfer around the hole and a couple other things but the program just wouldnt let me.

I also am trying to put an internal snap ring groove into a bore and have absolutely no idea how to go about doing that. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Add the sketch to the inside bore, on one side to match the snap ring groove dimension, and Revolve Cut. Attach your model for actual help with your model. If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section of a forum post to attach it.

Are there any unresolved issues highlighted in yellow in your Timeline?

Are all sketches fully defined (especially Sketch1)?

What is the purpose of Extrude 10, 11 and 12?

Will the blind holes be drilled with standard °118 drills, or will they be milled with end mills?

Bottom tapped holes often result in broken taps - I would leave a bit of clearance.

I started to remodel the part from scratch and these are the questions that came up.

@jhackney1972 jhackney1972, thanks a ton. That makes complete sense now. I know that I need to go back and resolve some of the constraints in the sketches. I may move some things around some is why I haven't nailed it down yet. That does however bring the question, how exactly do I know if something is fully constrained? I'm sure I sound like an idiot but trying to teach this to myself.

@TheCADWhisperer I wasn't planning on bottom tapping the holes, I guess I need to define the depth on them. I will go back and try to clean all of my drawings. I'm trying hard. LOL

Remember, we all had to learn the application but our methods varied. I was taught by doing hours or simple sketches and models of very simple shapes paying close attention to all details. You are trying to jump into the deep end on first go but if that is your cup of tea that is OK.

You need to start using sketch constrains and dimensions up front. You will find editing your model a lot easier later on if needed. You say you may have to move things around, well with proper sketch constrains and dimensions it is easier than dragging sketches. Also if you have a loose sketch, some modeling features may deform the rest of your work leading to a lot of grief. You will know when a sketch is fully constrained, with sketch constrains and dimensions, in that order, by the color change. You can also simply drag the sketch entity to make sure.

By the way, start using the proper terminology, you are building a "model" right now not a drawing. The 2D drawing may be created from the model once it is finished.

I am sure you will get it but try to do small project concentrating on the basics and you will surely enjoy Fusion 360 a lot more. Come back here often to get help if you need it and if it concerns a model, always attach it for a quicker response.

I added the updated model. Let me know what I messed up if you don't mind! Please keep in mind this is only the second or third drawing I have attempted!
