Solid Tapered leg - without using angles part 2

So this is a continuation from another question I posted earlier and marked as solved. Tapered Leg - part 1

I was shown how to make use of the Loft tool in the answers provided. But, I realized that what i needed was a bit more complicated. I have recorded a screencast where I explain what I'm actually after.

I'm not sure that this is exactly what you are looking for, but might give you some hints on the direction to take. Basically, loft has to pass exactly through all the profiles, so you will have to construct your middle profile to match exactly the geometry you want. I did this with a helper 3D sketch that joined the top and bottom, then constructed the middle sketch, and used Project->Intersect to make sure that that middle sketch had points that exactly lied along that line.

Simply use the Split Body command and select the face you want to extend to the top.
