How can i warp it to extrude down and away from the plane it was on? Research makes me think that a loft could work but I can't find anything to show me a strategy. I've got about 3 months of fusion experience.

This taught me a lot, thank you. I was able to replicate what you did by stepping through the history and looking at some videos.

I need to pull the spout down -- not just out. So i modified the form both ways in the linked example.

The problem i have now is that since the patched top is curved an not on a single plane, i don't know how to delete the inside hole that got created.

I tried to create a 3d sketch but I can't figure out how to delete the inside. Can you give guidance on that?

I've attached the demo file i'm working with.

I have made an attempt using surfacing. I tried this on a rectangular and a circular beaker. But there were some strange artifacts during thickening, specifically a split line at the bottom of the spout. Hoping that some of the surfacing veterans here can review and give some pointers on the quality of the surface.
