the STL file looks fine to me.

If the faces look "not flat" in Meshmixer, it is likely that Meshmixer is just set to "group normals", and you need to change to "face normals"

group normals:

Hello, I'm a newbie, although I've been working with Fusion 360 for quite a while now. But there's allot to learn.

I produced a model with many parts, and I am having the parts printed individually. The model consist of 5 discs in parallel in between which are 4 layers that consist of 4 curved flyouts that pivot around an axis. This is the cycle of fifths in music, each flyout has the 7 diatonic chord names engraved for that key.

I plan to print 16 flyouts, the geometry is the same but each one has a different engraving. I copied a component that has 4 flyouts and converted it to 1 flyout called foldout (attached); I then made an STL file of foldout.

I checked the foldout STL file in Meshmixer and it is distorted, surfaces are not flat where they should be flat, etc.

This is the first time I have had this type of problem, up to now STL files have been well-behaved and printed correctly.

Thank you for any help.

Jacques

https://a360.co/3cwwHkQ

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

Can you show screen capture image of Meshmixer and indicate where you see an issue with the geometry?

Are you in Ortho view?
