joint - join one body of a multiple component body to another body

Hello, I am trying to join one of the bodies of a component with multiple body to another component with only one body. I can move the initial component (flyout) in space in preparation for the joint; but when I actually execute the joint command after aligning the correct axis/faces all the bodies of the multiple component bodies move together to satisfy the joint putting everything out of wack.

I want to rotate the body to make sure there is no interference.

You will need to convert the individual bodies under Top Layer Foldout into components first, at least three of them. Then use Joints to position each on the Top Layer component. This is if I am understanding your question.
