Help Creating Radius

I am looking to model the part in the canvas tab. psi.75mm.CLVS

All relevant info is in the canvas tab.

I can not seem to create the lower radius that creates a circular form around the bottom part. I hope that makes sense.

If anyone can suggest a tip that would be great. Thank you.

Are you going to 3D print this, or are you going to machine it?

(Note that the "threads" are cosmetic - will not print.)

You will have to come back tomorrow for the instructions - but I think you are going to be amazed by the simplicity and learn a lot. It will probably be a combination of video instructions and written instructions.

What time zone are you in?

(I am in Florida.)

Hint: Think about cutting from stock out on the shop floor rather than modeling in finished form.

Lets start by placing and calibrating existing reference images in canvas.

Attach your progress file here for next set of steps.

Somehow you got the wrong scale in the Bottom View canvas. You don't have to undo anything - simply Calibrate again and enter the correct dimension.

I have the final video recorded for modeling the geometry, but somehow I screwed up while editing out uhms and ahs and need to re-edit the video. Going through the video edit I think that I have made the modeling process easy to understand.

If you are making manufacturing configurations, I recommend that you drag Extrude2 on the Timeline to occur before Extrude1.

Edit: Oops, I just discovered that I accidently duplicated a small bit of the video.

Hello,
First I would like to thank you for sharing your experience
I have recreated the model on my side with the help of your videos
I attach the screenshots that show the construction differences
Front view: the outside angle of 57° end with 1.039" dimension, the inside angle of 34° is not right because this angle is defined with 0.90" dimension and coincident points
Side view: I define the dimension 3.68" tangent to arc R 0.708" so chamfer angle is not 5° but 4.5008°
I can say that I have progressed mainly with the intersect function

@user015M86YI was able to change the side view angles to 4.5° and bring the height to the correct dimension. I am not familiar with intersect function but it looks like I will have to learn that.
