Trying to get joints to work in an assembly

Hello, for days I've been trying to get some joints to work in a piston for an assembly of a Stirling Engine. I will attach a video of how I want them to work with the fly wheel part. Also, I will attach the file in case you need to see it. I hope you guys can help me with this because I've been trying for a quite a while and I can't get it to work.

Will get to the file later in the day, can’t see it on this device,

Ground the case, (and barrels)

revolve the crank shaft.

Revolve both rods to crank pin (both rod ends have to include offsets off vertical centre)

Revolve both rods to gudgeon pins

Slider pistons in the barrel,

Animate model, with first Revolve

Might get you going, as you did not say where you got to,

It looks like you just needed the slider joints and the rotation joint. I attached my version below. Let me know if that makes sense or if you have any questions about it. I'm not driving any dimensions but you can grab the piston and move them to see it working.

It is working perfectly, thank you. But I have a quick question. Is there any way to make the fly wheel to rotate while moving the piston like the video is showing?.

Rigid the Flywheel to the shaft.

@aruiz40DNGK7 I would agree with @davebYYPCU a rigid joint would work. If you don't want to have to measure the offset between the shaft and the flywheel you can use an As-Build joint between the two.

Here is the assembly with the added crankshaft component. I broke all the linked files to make it easier to upload. DO NOT USE THIS AS YOU FINAL MODEL but you can open it easily without uploading it. Where is you bottom cylinder housing?

Edit: @kgilham I hope you do not mind me borrowing your assembly to add the shaft into.

Thank you all for your responses I've been gathering all your feedback to keep moving forward. I think I am almost done, but I have a little issue again haha. I added a crankshaft in order to connect the fly wheel to the assembly, but I cannot achieve it to revolute while moving the pistons. I will attach the file again to see if you guys can see anything that I might be doing wrong because the only thing missing to complete the project is to get the fly wheel to revolute while moving the pistons. @kgilham @jhackney1972

From what you have got now, make an Assembly > Rigid Group

select the Flywheel, Crankshaft and either Arm. If you get a warning continue.

Animate Rev 15.

I am not sure you have a "correct" model, the horizontal barrel, is not aligned to the shaft centre line, and the cranking arms are upside down, the large boss is usually on the crankshaft and the small boss holds the crankpin,

(Never surprised by newby models)
