If the file is structured correctly,

1. Ground the Base

2. Revolve joint at TLP, between TM and the Base.

3. for independant moves top and bottom of the actuator - will need ball joints for C and the pushing arm,

and A, with the main frame.

Cees are rigid to TM.

4. Good luck. Easier to manipulate 3 actuators to keep the moving plane - a plane,

four will not be independant. (Moving just one actuator, with the other 3 stationary, will fail.)

Might help....

I wonder if anyone can help me or point me in the direction of a tutorial to achieve the following.

I've attached a pic of my project with reference labels.

This is a Sim Racing rig it has a main frame (parts within the dotted line) on to which are attached 4 linear actuators (A) which move up and down (AM) independently.

The Linear actuators sit on cups (C), with rounded bases, on a rotating frame (TL). This frame (TL) sits on a base (B) and pivots around a point at the front (TLP). The Frame (TL) is missing some additional details (castors on each corner and a linear actuators at the back.

I'd like to create a stop assemblies and motion joints which can then be tested (animated)

The Actuators are made up of 7 components and I've joined them all together and created a sliding joint for the actuator shaft.

What I don't know how to do is:

1. Anchor the base (B) so it never moves

2. Create the pivot point (TLP) for (TL) and everything sitting on it to arc around.

3. Attach the four actuators to the main rig (dotted area)

4. Create independent sliding motion for each of the actuators - so that the main rig moves around but the base of the actuators (C) remain in position on (TL)

Once I've got this working I can add the (TL) actuator and test different positions and linkage points for best operation.

Any help or hints will be much appreciated.

Thanks.
