Need Help with Foot Pedal Curve

Hi.

I'm new to using Fusion 360. I've watched Lars's Youtube videos but I'm stumped on what to do next. I'm designing a AP Racing Brake Pedal Pad with the aim of producing a 3d printed and eventually a CNC machined on my Sim Brake pedal. The only dimensions I could obtain is 105mm x 90mm. I'm not sure of the height/thickness of the pad.

So far I've sketched and extruded the Pedal shape but I'm not sure how to create the curves on the left and right sides of the pad. I've tried fillets but it doesn't create the curve how it should. Obviously I'm not doing something correctly or missing design steps but any help to steer me in the right direction would be great.

How do you share Fusion 360 files with other members? I'm happy to share the file.

File > Export

saves to your hard drive,

then in the Attachments area below this window, select the word Browse,

select the exported file.

T-spline box, works Ok, here.

How can you design that so accurately and quickly!?

Apologies but I'm already stuck and I have so many questions. I wish there was a video explaining the steps. I've tried to follow the Timeline but need more guidance.

I'm determined to make this how you've constructed the model. After I get this far, I have to make some holes and possibly some simple channels on the bottom face.

Questions:

This is a simple rectangle sketch? I'm trying to figure out how the points are set and are they significant to the design?

Is this a simple sketch of a rectangle? Are these points and how are they set? I think they're significant to the design of the model.

Is this a simple extrude? Is the dimension set at 9.688mm?

Is this a simple extrude up and are the dimensions 9.688mm?

Is this sketch on the axis? Is this a 3 point Arc and how is the sketch performed?

Is this sketch on the axis and is it an Arc and what type?

After the sketch is made, is it Extruded down?

Is this sketch finished the extruded down?

Is the sketch being made on the other axis? Is it a 3 point Arc and how is it determined?

Is this sketch on the other axis or plane?Is this curve an Arc and what type and how is it performed?

Is a Sweep used? Never tried this so how are they used?

Looked at the timeline and is this a Sweep? What is selected and how is it performed?

A Mirror is used here? How?

Is this a mirror? How is this done?

Are all corners selected for fillets? How is the radius defined?

These are fillets? How are the dimensions found?

Can't determine the radius of the edge fillet and are all edges selected at once?

Same with this dimension?

Made a Center Rectangle and placed Points along the lines, Is this correct?

I Extruded the sketch to 9.688mm following your dimensions.

Why is your Axis' different? Y is on a horizontal plane and should this matter to the design?

Hi. @TrippyLighting

I finally created the Pedal, Danke schön. Next step is explained in the Youtube video link I uploaded using sketch.

I would like to add a Countersunk Hole in the middle of the top face.

It's a M5 hex screw with a 10mm Diameter Head and goes right through. I'm not sure how accurate a CNC machine is but would a 10.5mm or 11mm countersink work so the head of the hex screw is flush or below the level of the face?

I would like to add some channels to the bottom face going into the body and please ignore the dimensions I have in the video.

They're 40mm in length, 3.1mm wide and 3mm in depth. They're 5mm below the center of the hex screw hole.

Got the Pedal Pads 3d printed and turned out great! Don't know if I'll get them CNC machined as it will $350 for only one.
