    <description>&lt;P&gt;Thanks for the reply, this wasn't exactly what i was looking for. The video i have attached shows what is happening.       <title>Two Engineering Drawings have different dimension methods and can't find out why</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I am looking at two engineering drawings one i made and one a college created. When i go to dimension a small area the two drawings create different results. We cannot figure out why they look different and the first would be useful in some situations but i do not know how to make it. both dimensions were created on the fusion instance with the same dimension button pressed and nothing else.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Using the "Chain Dimension" tool, you can re-create the dimension that you are looking for.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;As you can see from the animation below, the tool places the dimension value above the line when there is not enough space for it.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;I'll check with the team, I believe that you may have a legacy behaviour in the one file that is not available in new files.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Just circling back to this. That behaviour was only exposed for a couple of weeks, which is when you created the drawing. It is no longer exposed in new drawings.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Are you looking to have this behaviour in new drawings?&lt;/P&gt;
