I need a flat circularly inclining plane. Basically a coil with 1 revolution, but instead of a square, a very thin rectangle. I know my inner diameter(3), outer diameter(26) and the inclination after 1 revolution(1).

I thought I could start with that square coil, use one of the edges for a 'plane along path' and draw a rectangle on that.(I projected some other object to get the right rectangle size).

Next, just use the sweep tool to get the surface that I need. Unfortunately, the sweep tool is giving me some unexpected results:

This gets me in the ballpark, but I can't get it exact. I tried messing with the sweep settings, and I can get close, but what's the point of CAD if you can't get it exact? 🙂

How do I achieve this?

I will not claim that this is an ideal workflow. I don't, either, understand why the method you show does not get you the surface that you want. But, I think this is what you are after, maybe? I could not go full thickness, because I think that creates a non-manifold body...

The attached file shows two methods of making an incline plane, one with coil tool and one with a surface sweep. The screencast only shows the coil. It's not clear from your two images which kind of inclined plane you want.

Thanks @jeff_strater! That indeed gets a lot closer, but unfortunately still not exact.. I kept on running into errors as well. Mostly non-manifold, or bodies intersecting themselves. This is also the case for the surface sweep at 360deg Fusion runs into these 'could not compute' errors.
The surface offset does wonders though and I'm back on track! Thanks @etfrench
