Hello, I have a very basic question, please see the figure.

I am trying to create a simple loft between these two rectangles. All the dimensions of the rectangles are parametrized and also the distance between them (as in "offset of the plane where the second sketch is") is a parameter that I can control.

Now, my objective is that I want the small rectangle to always be centered on top of the other one.

I have tried to project the large rectangle onto the plane of the small rectangle and set a constraint in that way (between the small rectangle and the projection of the large rectangle on its plane), but I found that when I change the values of the parameters of the large rectangle, the small one doesn't stay aligned to it and instead only follows the old projection (which isn't updated).

How can I make sure that the center points are always exactly on top of each others, regardless of what the dimensions of the rectangles are?

Thank you very much!

The smaller rectangle is blue - indicating that it isn’t fully defined.

Did you Move the rectangle off of the sketch plane converting it from 2D to 3D geometry?

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

This seems to work flawlessly exactly as I would want it to work, so I have accepted this as answer to my problem. Thank you very much!!!
