Texturize Body and performance issues

Hey, hey,

I have a design that I would like to do 3 things with.

I laser engraved some guidelines onto a piece of wood. How could I replicate this in Fusion? As a texture? I tried to import the .svg and extrude that, but that didn't really work. Any ideas?
I wanted to use a better representation of the LED, but Fusion did not like that at all. When I tried it, Fusion was unusable once I create 144 copies of it. Is there a way of getting nicer aesthetics without Fusion using 500% CPU.
I would like to connect the rows of LEDs strips with cables. Whats the best way to model cables?

I've looked at this design earlier, but did not have the time then.

Is there a reason you are not working with the timeline enabled in the main assembly ?

What exact piece you you wat to engrave something one?

As it pertains to the LEDs, create a new empty component.

Insert the LED you modeled into that component and pattern that LED component.

A component pattern is much more memory efficient than a body pattern.

I would like to engrave the backplate. The component trick worked btw, thanks 🙂
