I've done some searches, and as far as I can see, the answer is "can't be done", but I thought I'd make a post on what I'm running in to in case someone has some ideas of how to improve my workflow.

I do a lot of work that starts out as 2D drawings in Adobe Illustrator. Those get saved as SVG files, then imported into F360 for solid modeling.

Here is a test model I put together that gives an example of what I'm doing (in highly simplified form, anyway) : https://a360.co/3F9PCPt

Generally, I will extrude the geometry as defined in the SVG file. That's simple enough, but where I get stuck is if I need to add a fillet or chamfer to the resulting extrusion.

I can, of course, go through by hand and select every line/curve segment, but I routinely run into situations where I have thousands of such segments, so that isn't really a practical solution.

Am I correct that there is no way to join line/curve segments? If so, can anyone recommend an alternative to my current workflow that will make this more efficient?

Thanks!

The problem isn't that they aren't "joined". The problem is that they are not tangent within the tolerance needed internally by Fusion 360.

That lack of tangency, or I should better say presence of near-tangency causes a lot of the problems encountered when importing geometry from a 2D vector graphics application.

Nevermind. Just as soon as I asked, I figured it out.

(Select the face, not the edges. Duh.)
