UI of some commands is very annoying [MEASURE]

I work on a 4K monitor (and yes it was very painful to set it up so Icons are not a pixel mess and super big)

but oftentimes when I want to measure something I need to scroll down which often takes a couple of times because the handle area is very small. Trying to resize the window is also hit and miss.

could there be an option to maximize the window or just improve the UI and make it more useable?

But I notice that if you zoom out before select the line the window will maximize .. see this screencast

You can't resize because it's docked, as indicated by this icon:

First undock by dragging it somewhere, like this.

That works, but if you have to do this repeatedly it becomes very cumbersome.

If this would be the only area where some UI fine tuning and polish would be needed I'd be tempted to let it go. But the matter of fact is that a lot of stuff in Fusion 360 requires me to click more that is really necessary.

A lot of the dimensional fields that pop up at the mouse cursor don't expand which is terrible if you want to type in a formula that is longer than what fits in the tiny space. The side panels have to be expanded in order to see a larger formula as a whole and then have to be manually resized to the former size so they don't occupy so much screen real estate.

This is an old bug where only the window docked to the edge of the screen will resize automatically.

If you drag the measure dialog over the sketch palette it will resize correctly. Don't know why they don't fix this as it's been a problem from the start. They even made it worse a while ago as the positions are now only per session and are not stored.😒

Full resize by dragging a corner? In docked mode I can only resize horizontally (by dragging this icon):

thats true ...its not a very big thing but if you have to deal with it every day its rather painful and not neccessary

completely agree with your statement @TrippyLighting . It seems like a small thing , but what irritates me is when the UI slightly behaves differently in the sketch compared to the other workspaces.

something completly different are splines. when you click ESC it deleted everything. If you click ESC after the Line command it stops at the last point of the polyline. muscle memory makes me having to redo splines again and again LOL

try it in the sketch workspace when its docked to the Sketch Palette...there is also no indicator where to pull the window. a bit of a pita imho

this is only the case if the sketch palette is also docked to the edge of the screen.

Have any of you tried this in the latest Insider's build? I feel like it has been fixed (the auto-resizing issue). Please confirm if you can. Thanks.
