Fusion crashes when object is recreated in a component in history

I accidentally created an object not in the component I intended it to be (where the sketch is living in) but in the root (component was not activated). I don't like to see cut&paste feature in my timeline so instead of moving I went back and edited the feature, activated the proper component and finished the edit. This causes Fusion to crash. Now, if this is not the way how can I fix my error without moving the object (and creating the dreaded cut&paste feature)?

If you performed the process, as you have written it, you are out of sequence a bit. It still should not have crashed Fusion 360. Take a look at the Screencast for two ways to handle the problem you mentioned.

@Steven_Gao It appears your colleagues have fixed the cause of the crash. I was able to recreate the crash issue exactly once, today, but after that no more. The streamer logs on my machine indicate an update was installed before I triggered the crash condition:

So when using the timeline controls pre-patch (red) the exception above was thrown.

Post-patch (green) the timeline is only inconsistent and fixes itself after one "Previous Step" action.
