Issue: Line weight on exported drawings since update.

Since a recent update (the previous to the latest I believe) the line weight in drawings once exported to PDF has increased massively. The lines are way too thick and loads of detail is lost.

Previous to this, the drawings exported to PDF perfectly, just as they appeared on-screen within the drawing environment.

If I un-check line weights it looks ok on screen, but once printed to paper, most of the lines are not visible.

This is costing me a lot of hassle in my line of work as I have to provide customer with dozens of printable drawings every day, please can this be addressed ASAP??

We have checked the issue on our side but we are not able to reproduce the issue, It would be helpful for us if you can share your output as DWG/PDF or Image of print where you are getting issue.

I have just updated to the latest version (seems the update failed first time). The issue seems to have resolved itself now. Thank you for the quick response, if I notice it again I will update the thread.

Hi @nemadec ,

So this morning I have come to send some drawings to a customer and upon exporting I noticed that the lines are in fact thicker again.

I have attached 3 PDF's.

'Previous Drawing' shows how a similar item used to look when drawn, pay close attention to the detail shown on the perspective view of the cubicles.
'New Drawing - Lineweight on' shows the issue I am encountering, a lot of fine detail is lost.
'New Drawing - Lineweight off' shows the drawing exported with lineweight unchecked, however when printed to paper, a lot of the lines are not visible as they are too thin for the printer to print, even on high quality CAD print settings.

As I said previously, this only started a couple of updates ago with no obvious reason as to why, I have not altered any settings??

Update:
I have found that this is only happens to drawings produced after the update, if I export a drawing from before the update, it does not show these thickened lines.

mean while can you share the line weight setting for older drawing and Newly created drawing?(attached image for reference)

one more thing, is it happening for same drawing? if it is than can you share the file with us?

The settings on the older drawings are exactly the same as the settings on the new drawings from what I can see.

Any update with this? I've had a client come back to me today and when he's printed his drawings, all he can see is the dimension lines!
