Hi,

if you make a little thickness then zoom in you will see some tweaking at the faces

you can remodel it or make it in T-spline work space >( convert >BREP face to T-splines ) then make the thicken in T-spline work space (I think this is the easiest way for you case

You use too many fit points for your splines and they are also not single curves but multiple segments.

Use fewer splines and points and work with the tangent handles to get smoother curves.

Also, perhaps create the sketches on planes that are oriented more tangentially to the surface of the helmet.

Then you are also lofting into singularities. That may or may not thicken if the general curvature of the splines you are using is improved.

Attached is a model with an improved, but still far from perfect workflow. It might be enouhg for you to continue with your project.

Due to the issue with lofting into a singularities I had to thicken the cheeks separately from the main body. Then I combined them later. The geometry looks OK outside, but on the inside the artifacts introduced by thickening the questionable lofted surfaces can be clearly seen. Still, it might be good enough for your purpose.

A better solution is quite a bit more work, but not impossible. That better solution should then allow to thicken the helmet as a whole.
