General questions regarding drawings

Hello Community,

Im currently working on a relatively big project and need to create a few drawings for this.

While working on this I stumpled across a few things wich I think could be better- or I simply dont understand or use correctly.

1. If I create a drawing and then insert another component into the 3D-Model the drawing automatically loads this new component into every single sheet of my drawing. I generally supress every component except the chosen for a single sheet, but new components are always visible. Problem is, that I need to revisit every single sheet after making a change in the 3D-Model to take new components out. Sucks. Is there a thing I am missing?

2. Regarding rev. tables. Is there a option to only have revisions for every sheet? I want to add a table on every sheet where I changed a thing, and display only the changes wich correlate to this sheet; not every single change in the wohle drawing. Atm I just make a custom table, but this is a poor workaround.

Missing something here?

Thats it for the moment. Hope somebody has a clue how ti fix this.

Thanks for reaching out.

For #1, If there is existing drawing view in which at least one component is in suppressed state and if we add new component in the design then by default new component gets added in the drawing view after get latest in suppressed state only. So that component will not be visible in the view by default.

For#2, There is revision scope option available in the Document settings. If we change that scope to 'Sheet', we can create sheet specific revision tables.

#2 works flawless. I totally missed that one, thank you!

with #1 I still have my problems. Dont even know If I understood correctly, but let me show you my problem.

In this picutre I isolated "Schweißrahmen" by rightclicking -> supress everything except

After that I did my work on the different sheets and then added the next components into "Unterbau".

Then it looks like this:

and destroys more or less my whole drawing.

Hi @mbl_busse ,

I checked this case again for sub-level assemblies. This works fine for first level assembly but for sub-assemblies at different level, the newly added component gets added in un-suppressed state by default.

We will look into this behaviour.
