I can't produce a loft, because I get "Rail misses the profile" message for my rails. But, these rails do not miss the profile. The endpoints of the arcs have coincident constraints with a projection of both top and bottom loft profiles.

This looks like a bug, but perhaps I'm missing something?

Hi,

Rail 1 is connected to the magenta projection, but not to the profiles.
Disconnect the existing connection and create new ones to profiles 1 and 2 with Project /Intersect as shown in the screencast

günther

thanks, @g-andresen - your solution is correct. For @jrychter - the problem that you ran into is in your description: "The endpoints of the arcs have coincident constraints with a projection of both top and bottom loft profiles" (bolding is mine). Instead of using Sketch->Project, you should have used Sketch->Intersect, as Guenther does in his screencast.

Hmm. So I tried doing just that, but I'm running into another problem: it seems it isn't possible to intersect projected geometry. The top shape in the design is currently projected from the bottom one, since it is supposed to be the same.

Yes, I understood that, I just had a problem in that Fusion would not let me intersect a sketch which was itself a projection. But it seems it's one of those things that quitting and restarting Fusion fixed (sigh). So, I managed to create my rails.

Thank you very much for your help, Guenther!
