Hello everyone.

In the attached file, I would like to move this rigid group up, so less of the roller is inside the tube. I will also then have to extend the plates where the bearings are mounted but I think that should be easy.

I am not sure how to do this without disrupting other joints. Can any one assist me with this?

File attached.

You did not say how far you want to move the roller assemblies up but I did it so the roller is above the tube. If you need extra help understanding the process, just ask. The bearing plates can be increased by going back to the original sketch, which is not constrained, and adding dimensions. Model is attached.

Edit: You also did not mention what to do with the slots in the tube.

You were not very clear on what you wanted to do with the bearing mounts. I first thought you wanted to increase the size of the plate below the bearing but now I am thinking you need to extend them to match the new height of the assembly over the pipe. I moved everything up 1.875 inches. Modified model is attached.

Thank you for your response. I apologize for not being clear in describing my issue.

I wanted to move it only about 1.10" higher, only so less roller protrudes into pipe. Would you mind making a screencast showing how you did the move in the file you attached?

My suggestion would be to fix that yellow icon in your timeline and then apply whatever changes John has suggested.
