Hello,

I hope you can help me with this issue:

The width of the main cilinder is a parameter and I am trying to modify, but when I do, the spline on the right doesn't offset accordingly and it gets deformed.

I see that the 2 planes that constrain the spline move correctly when changing the cilinder width. The start & end points of the spline seem to move correctly as well, but the intermediate points of the spline remain static and they don't move.

Any idea how to solve this?

Thank you!

Can you elaborate a bit more on the model and explain what its purpose is?

Pictures might help.

There are a number of things in the loft on the right that likely need to be changed and it might not even make sense to create it as a single loft

You have the endpoints of that spline constrained to the planes, so the move with the planes. the ones in the middle are just hanging there un-constrained. there's no reason for them to move just because the planes move. try dimensioning the middle point to one of the end points so they move together.

Yes, you are missing something!

The end points are constrained to sketch elements, which are driven. They move when those sketch elements change.

The intermediate fit points also need to be constrained /or dimensioned, probably in reference to those end points.

As such using as few fit points as possible is going to help.

A control point spline might be easier to constrain/dimension.
