If you use Export from the file menu and save as a DWG or DXF you can export 3d sketches.

Actually, Save As DXF also exports a 3d sketch.

Here in Fusion then Rhino. You mention needing to select a plane, but that's only for importing DXF files so is the problem trying to export then import?

Is the sketch in a translated component or created on a plane other than the XY? I think if you hide everything in the design apart from the sketch, then use Export from the file menu the sketch should use the document UCS. Also make sure you don't have any Capture Positions pending.

Can you make a simple test file you can share here? Save as an f3d.

instead of exporting, right click the sketch and select "save as dxf". the resulting geometry will have the same origin as the selected sketch, regardless off what plane it's on or translations.

I see you're working in direct mode and I think you've moved the sketch plane so Save As DXF doesn't give the same orientation as what you see in Fusion. But for me using Export does give the same orientation as the document when I check it in Rhino. One thought if you're not seeing this is have you got both of your programs set to Z up?
