Taper Angle / Draft complex part

Hello! I am new to Fusion 360. I am trying to add a taper to the outside face of a model but keep getting errors every method I try. I have tried extruding with a taper, drafting, and using loft. However none seem to work on this model. Any help would be much appreciated.

Background: The initial sketch was created in Illustrator, then imported as a DXF.

It's not likely to be able to get that to draft. The problem comes from the DXF with near tangent lines and many short segments.

I would recommend, turning on capture design history and creating a new sketch and trace the body with control point splines and lines with tangent constraints where needed and use the fix tool as you go. Then extrude a new body with taper.

It will be time consuming but it will give the best results.
