Same Rocket Cone, one more question

Thanks for everyone's help yesterday !

Please see the construction line on the right (the one on the screenshot). I'd like to set top and bottom distances for this construction line. User parameters ChuteTopSpacing and ChuteBottomSpacing. Top to the top of the spline, bottom is to the bottom of the spline or X-axis.

When a define one side, it doesn't let me to specify the other side, although I can hold the end point of the construction line by mouse and move up and down.

What am I doing wrong ?

Add a horizontal construction line to each point. Place the parametric dimension to those. The names of the parameters are not the same as in your post but I assume I used the right ones. I changed the top one to a large value for illustration. Model is attached.

Looks like a bug to me. Adding another line with a dimension results in the same error when attempting to dimension the construction line.

@jhackney1972 , thank you, it works.

Do we know why it works this way ? It only works when we constraint one construction line with horizontal, the other with perpendicular. Wondering if there is a logic behind this or if it is a Fusion 360 quirk and you found a great workaround ? Given my F360 experience I suppose it is the former.

No idea, I have used this before. It is probably a flaw in the application as @etfrench suggests.
