Create 2D floor plan from 3D house model

Hi,

I created a 3D model of a house:

How can I convert this to a 2D drawing, so that the dimensions of the windows and doors are also in the drawing? I'm only able to create this drawing without the dimensions of the windows and doors:

I would like to create something like this:

do a section view of an elevation at a level that cuts thru door and window openings.

Hi @Anonymous ,

Hope the below solution will help you to get desired output.

Commands used:

Section View (Then Edit Hatch to get dark borders)
Sketch Editor to add stairs etc
Text command for specifications

Create a Drawing and you can give dimensions in the Isometric view also..!!

You can write doors in the sketch and make them visible in the drawing.

Here is a small sample of what I wrote.
