bodies wont combine correctly

Hi,

Just learning fusion and ive hit an issue. ive made 2 bodies and combined them without error, but when i try to work on the single body, fusion keeps seeing part of the 2 separate bodies.

I want to put a fillet on th bottom edge of this bracket but when i try it still sees part of the disk.

this is the error

I know its going to be something to do with the way ive created the sketches from the start, but is it fixable? ive not been able to attached the file so far, for you to look at, maybe someone can tel me how to do this? i keep getting a file type error. thanks for any help.

File export, then attach the file to a reply message, is the disc flush with the rest of the bracket?

Hi, sorry for the late reply, my internet has been down. ive 3D printed the prototype and it turned out well so the bodies must be aligned correctly. Ive attached the file AGAIN, hopefully it will work this time, thanks for your help.

I fixed it.

Normally, it should be fixed by adding a constraint that matches the contour to this part, but it does not work.

This is how surface discrepancies are created.

I think one of the reasons for this is the movement.

Apparently, the movement is not firmly centered on the circle, and the projection of the later sketch is slightly off, causing the surface mismatch.

Since this move seems to rotate the hole position by about 10 degrees, the sketch of the hole position was modified and this move feature was removed.

Then the composite will be successful and the mismatched areas of the surfaces will be eliminated.

Fillets can also be added on the bottom.

Your uploaded file is Not correct but it probably fused in the process

You have made several mistakes in your modeling technique.

Are you interested in step-by-step instructions on how to correct these mistakes so that they do not reoccur in future designs?

Sketches 1 and 3 are not fully defined.

Move is almost always the wrong move (pun intended) as used by beginners.

Thanks everyone for your kind replies. I will look at your files and see what you have done to make it correct. and ill post a picture of the final print once ive finished prototyping it.
