Autodesk Desktop connector fails to display thumbnails

I heard that an application called Autodesk Desktop connector can manage Fusion360 files on Windows 10. So I immediately installed it.

I think it is a great application that allows you to synchronize with Fusion360 projects and manipulate files on Windows 10 Explorer.

However, as you can see in the attached image, half of the thumbnails are not displayed.

Deleting the Windows thumbnail cache did not change this.

As a test, I tried installing it on another PC, but the result was still the same.

When I contacted support, they replied that the thumbnail display is a Windows function, so it is not an inconvenience on the application side. However, since the behavior is the same on other PCs, I am wondering if the problem is on the application side. I am wondering.

Is there anyone in this forum who is working with this application and is experiencing the same behavior?

Also, any clues as to how to solve the problem?

Very interesting, I didn't know about this file preview feature, this is very interesting to get a quick preview of the files, who knows, in the future this could be an implementation of Fusion 360 itself, not if that would be possible, what is the name of this application I can do an install and perform some ski tests on Win11.

Well, I installed the APP on Win11 but I was not successful, not even opening the application is possible, it even appears in the task manager but nothing appears on the desktop.

The only thing I can access is through the running application icons but the screen remains completely white.

Fairly, perhaps it is no longer a functional tool for Win10 and 11 operating systems.

Is there any other alternative that can fulfill this quick file preview function?

@lucasliraAU, Go where this is stored.

Once you open Desktop connector, it will open in background. And you won't see it. But it is visible here..!!

You will See options like Fusion, Drive here..!!

And once you exit Desktop connector, the options visible in this PC will also go.

It's odd that it doesn't work on Windows 11.

Here is a different page, but I believe it is the latest release notes for this application.

It says here that of course Windows 11 is supported.

Even with the image you pasted, I still don't see all the thumbnails.

I still feel that this is an inconvenience on the part of the software.

I have been in contact with support and have had this confirmed by Autodesk.

I hope the developers will improve this as soon as possible.
