How to Copy from a Projection (without Losing Link)

I've projected some geometry into a drawing. But for some reason it can't be selected for copying.

Imagine for example, a rectangle projected into a new drawing from existing geometry. And I want a copy of that projection 100mm to the left and rotate it 90 degrees. How can I achieve that, such that if the source rectangle geometry made longer, that change will show in the copy in the drawing?

You should be able to copy/paste sketch geometry - I just tried it, and it seemed to work OK. However, that copy will NOT be associative (there is no associative copy/paste in Fusion sketch). You might be able to get away with a sketch pattern, which should be associative to some level, but there is only rectangular or circular patterns, and you want both a translation and a rotation.

So, you can use "move/copy" to copy projected geometry? For me, "move/copy" works fine for everything except that. If I have projected geometry selected when I choose "move/copy", it deselects. And either way, clicks on projected geometry are ignored when I am in the move/copy tool.

Yes, it works for me. You have to select the curves (not the profile), but yes, I can copy/paste it:

oh, interesting. I just noticed that you specifically referred to the the Move/Copy command - I used just generic copy/paste. You are correct - the Move command does not allow projected geometry to be selected (probably because it cannot be moved, which was the original intent of this command - copy came later). This is a bug, I agree

Dimension the destination sketch articles with the same dimensions as the source articles. Can use parameters, or just the same dimension reference.
