    <description>&lt;P&gt;A screen shot of the browser probably isn't going to be help full in diagnosing, perhaps creating a mockup file that exibits the problem and attach that?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;one WAG- are theses multiple instances of the same component?&amp;nbsp; editing one component edits all instances, not just the one your in.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;decal applying to multiple faces at once, even with chain faces unchecked..&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;so I have a file, I can't upload, its a work file and proprietary..&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;it was a step file that was handed to me to render.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;as I'm going along I'm attempting to apply a different decal for each flooring sample..&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;however when I do so, it applies the decal do every sample..&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;even though they are in their own component.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;any help?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm attaching a screen shot to help hopefully.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I tried isolating.. nothing is working. restarted the computer and fusion multiple times.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm deff a newb to the program but still, this should be more apparent as to what is wrong..&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;anyone got any pointers they wanna flex?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;From your browser image, I see that "Mod F test board" is one component with 5 instances.&amp;nbsp; I cannot tell whether "Mod F wing w boards for rende..." is an instanced component or not.&amp;nbsp; But, if so, understand that if you apply a decal to an instance of the component, it will be applied to all instances:&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;You would have to create the instances using Paste New (instead of Paste) for internal components.&amp;nbsp; This creates an independent copy of the component.&lt;/P&gt;
