      <title>How to make pocket toolpath follow edge of model</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm struggling with getting a pocket toolpath to do what I want.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The goal is to clear out material on the inside of this model&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="rj_gould_0-1675175424785.png" style="width: 600px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/1169560i244F46BB1467A1EF/image-size/medium?v=v2&amp;amp;px=400" role="button" title="rj_gould_0-1675175424785.png" alt="rj_gould_0-1675175424785.png" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;But along the upper edge, the toolpath runs perpendicuar to the edge of the model instead of along it., like this&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="rj_gould_1-1675175594591.png" style="width: 600px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/1169563iEFF20BBC96BF44E4/image-size/medium?v=v2&amp;amp;px=400" role="button" title="rj_gould_1-1675175594591.png" alt="rj_gould_1-1675175594591.png" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So the tool will leave indentations on the inner edge, like this&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="rj_gould_2-1675175632153.png" style="width: 600px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/1169564i1AF4D6379D58019B/image-size/medium?v=v2&amp;amp;px=400" role="button" title="rj_gould_2-1675175632153.png" alt="rj_gould_2-1675175632153.png" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Why does the toolpath do this?&amp;nbsp; How can I make it behave 'normally' - where a rectangluar pocket is cut out with the tool following the direction of the edges of the model?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
