Sheet metal flange over curved surface

Hello there,

does anyone know how I could achieve this result in Fusion 360?

I have to add flanges to a curved sheet metal as in the photo. My goal is to have a proper flat pattern output at the end of my modeling. In real life you need to have those multiple cuts along the curved profile to allow flanges to bend...

But since Fusion doesn't allow to add flanges to a curved profile, I can't manage how to do it.

gotta follow Sheetmetal rules, no way around it if you want it to unfold. in your pic the part seems to be a compound curve, "compounding" the difficulty.

Thank you @laughingcreek for the answer.

I think that turn the curve in a polygon is the only way. My priority is to have a correct flat pattern to send on machining. Once the sheet cut with correct dimensions, I think it can be bended smoothly, without all the edges.
