How to export points with "Save as DXF" option

Hi,

How do I export a dxf file containing points with the "Save as DXF" option when you right click on a sketch.

I need to export a sketch as a .dxf file to sent my design to the cnc router. The sketch needs to includes point where the router will drill holes. But when I use the "Save as DXF" option points do not show up in the .dxf file. When I use the export option from the menu points do show up but this takes a long time and sometimes the scale is wrong. Is there a way to export a sketch where points show up with the "Save as dxf" option?
