Looking for drawing critique/help

I'm a beginner and trying to learn on a simple project and would like some constructive feedback on my drawing.

I have a blue circular line that I can't figure out how to turn black no matter how I define it (sketch 5) and there are 3 purple lines (also on sketch 5) that I'm not sure how came to be, or how/if I can remove them.

I'm ultimately trying to combine this with a piece I need to build from a Kira Engine Scan, however that may be for a different topic.

At some point in time, the sketch was in 3d mode instead of 2d. The circle is not on the sketch plane. There is a lot of other geometry also not on the sketch plane.

Use the Break Link command on all of the purple lines (They were projected as 3d). Select all of the geometry in the sketch and use the "Move to sketch plane" command. You can now dimension the circle to the sketch origin. (It will be easiest if you use the Look At command first.)

Hello, I do not see the "Move to sketch plane" command, I only see the commands below.

I actually removed all of it and redid it so that everything is connected to the proper plane, however the circular portion is still blue no matter how I define it?

Hi,

1. The circle is not on the sketch plane and is not defined in relation to the X axis.

2. Please show with a picture how the pipe should be arranged. Then you can give hints for the solution.

Edit the sketch. Select all. Right click to open the context menu. If any geometry is not on the sketch plane, the Move to sketch plane command will be in the context menu.

You are not drawing the circle on the sketch plane. How did you do it?

Move is almost always the wrong move (as used by beginners).

If you are tempted to use Move, you should stop and ask questions first.

Also, it is rarely necessary to create Workplanes for basic geometry.

Originally in the first file I had an offset plane at a 45* angle and built from that, when I was unable to get rid of the blue lines I redid it using (I think) a move off of the X axis so that it was attached to it.

I would like to have it the size (79mm) and location it is at, at a 45* (at least to start) .

Hi, I don't have a real object, only the digital object I've drawn in the file, is there another way I can answer that question?

Should the pipe be positioned centrally from above at an angle of 45° to the left/right, front/rear, from a side surface or whatever?

Yes, I tried to position it centrally on the X axis at a 45* angle. On the Y axis, I arbitrarily choose 6mm from the top of the manifold portion.

Thank you for the video, I've watched it a few times and I am not sure where I am going wrong. I was able to get to 2:40, however when I try to split the body I get the following error message. Can I have a hint as to what mistake I made?
