OK, understand that you cannot share the file, but we really need a bit more context. Does this design have a Tangent Relationship in it? Can't even tell whether the "tangency" in question is sketch or assembly...

I have a colleague's work, and there are a few issues.

they managed to make a curved line somehow from a loft...

the line has been split in three, from a loft somehow?

I cant mirror half the body to the other side, I am sending a PM of what it looks like.

As @jeff_strater said, it's going to be impossible to resolve this without the original file. The line can't be split into three unless there are arbitrary plane intersects (et al) which we can't see.

Also, what event triggers the error in your initial question?

OK, there is some more info here. You mention loft. That helps a tiny bit. I guess, then, that maybe the "tangency" in question is that there is a tangent condition being set on the loft that is causing a loft failure.

But, I do not understand: "they managed to make a curved line somehow from a loft...". What do you mean by "line" here? When I hear "line", I think sketch curve. This looks like an edge. Certainly curved edges are what I would expect from loft. I also don't know what "the line has been split in three, from a loft somehow?" means.

Can you extract just a small subset of the design that does not give away any IP, but which still reproduces the problem? Otherwise, it will be like diagnosing the cause of your headache without being able to examine the patient.

I suggest you contact official Autodesk support with such requests!

Obviously that is only available with paid subscriptions.

I am assuming that you are working on this NDA work, which is usually of commercial nature, with a commercial subscription.

Hi! Based on prior discussions, this is probably a Boolean related failure. The sketch profiles participating in the feature compute may not be ideal. Try deleting some of the sketch geometry (remove overlapped lines/curves).

I'm sorry, but I don't have a lot of time to look at your design. Again, try to see if you can narrow the design down to a small subset that shows the problem. That is the best way to leverage all the expertise of the forum.

too many lines, and the loft made a curved line that i ended up redoing to get ride of it, as i expected it to make 1 face...

resolved now anyway
