Depending on what your desired end result is, I would not use a fillet but a loft. It's a little bit more work, but much more visually pleasing.

In general, before starting to sketch stuff, try to assess symmetries and patterns.
This design is symmetric about the ZX plane and that should be reflected in the sketch. The sketch also should be fully defined as it can easily be destroyed by accident, particularly when using user parameters.

Loft not possible?

I'm trying to create a smooth downward slope between the two bodies shown below.

I was able to accomplish this on a similar shape by extruding the shape between them and applying a filet (image below).

However, the filet didn't work on my new shape like it did before. I think it's because there's not enough surface area on it? I'm not sure why.

I've been reading and watching videos on the Loft tool which seems very relevant here, but I can't get the loft to solve. I've tried various pairs of profiles, sketching a spline to use as a rail, etc. I am very new though so I would believe I'm missing something obvious to experienced users.

I attached my f3d file. Can anyone take a look and see why a loft can't be applied? (or possibly a filet if you have time, but I feel like loft is the proper tool for this?)
