Hidden lines that shouldnt be there

Gday all

I have done a drawing as sketch but when i go to into the drawing there are more "hidden" lines than there should be, I have tried everything that i know. Any suggestions please ???

I placed a Section View below your drawing view. As you can see, it looks like a one to one match to me.

Thank you for reply John.

I have already tried the solution that you sent back but the problem is I have still have lines that shouldn't be there. As per photo I have circled these lines. Is it something that I am doing in the design on the drawing that is causing these lines to be still there. All I want is the hatched area and the outside lines of the hatched area of the part.

Those lines are normal for that view, you are seeing the back of the part, behind the section.

If you want them to disappear then cut the back section of the part off.

Or patch the section sketch for a surface body and hide the whole part.

You may be looking to create a Section View Slice which can remove those edges from the view.
