Duplicate or copy

Hi, I need to duplicate certain number of nuts and bolts for assembly. I cannot copy paste every time I need those bolts or nuts, is there an option to duplicate a component for certain numbers please do let me know.

Hi @mourya_mUK42M, thanks for reaching out!

You can try using a pattern of the component(s) so you can type in the amount you need to copy at a time. After than you can then re-position them using joints.

Hey @william.siggee thank you for the suggestion, I already tried that feature is there any other choice. As you know when we use that it says in time line, I don't want pattern to be visible.

@mourya_mUK42M Currently, there is no other method for multiple pastes at once. Just out of interest, why don't you want the pattern to show in the timeline?

Just to be clear in timeline, components and pattern is different right? but if we have a component in place of pattern we can use that duplicates as we wish which looks more easy for me.

Hi,

I would do it like @william.siggee recommended
You create a component "Screw-xx", insert a screw and create a pattern from it with any number of copies. Then you can position each screw as needed.
This way you have all the screws of that format in one component.
