    <description>&lt;P&gt;If the part will be machined on a mill, I would just copy the toolpaths to the new file and update them.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Is there a tool to compare models to see if they have the same geometry?</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;So we're a machine shop that makes parts. Often we'll get a job that's the same job but a later/different revision. Usually the updated revision is actually different but often the geometry is exactly the same.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'll usually import the updated model into the file which has the geometry of the old revision, place the new model in the same place the old model is in, and then rotate my camera and watch for any faces that don't have artifacts like the ones shown below.
