Is there a way to select next field with a keyboard?

I found another question from 2018 (that's 5 years, mind you) https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/fusion-360-support/shortcut-to-swap-between-fields-in-tool-windows-e-g-move/m-p/8018283#M27105 that says there is no solution.

I cant believe it. There must be.

Just to be clear, here is what I want.

I press a shortcut that opens an operation and dialog window. I select item for the first attribute (body)

Now I want to press something on the keyboard and move to the next field to select (plane). Right now, I need to move all the way to the window with a mouse.

No, there is not. Tab only moves between fields which have in-scene entry fields (like Extrude distance and taper angle).

Send a note to the Autodesk UI designers and tell them the TAB key exists for this...

This note has been sent and received dozens of times. This was a conscious decision that was made very early on in Fusion's history. It can certainly be reversed, but the main argument against Tab advancing to every field is dialogs like this one:

with many fields. Navigating a dialog like this with Tab would be a nightmare. So, the decision was made to have Tab only navigate between "important" fields. It is certainly debatable whether that is good or bad, but the decision was not made lightly.

Hi,

While I can see exactly from your post why this decision was made, maybe the solution is to make

it a non-default option to use Tab? For smaller menus it would work and I think is what the original

post is asking and for larger menus a user would just "suck it up" or use the mouse.

Would it hurt to let the Beta testers have a go and see if it works?

You clearly have a lot of experience, so I would like to know more. Why not?
The way I see it is - in the case of "mirror dialog" and some other simple 2-3 step operation I need to move the mouse in and out between things to click on in the working area and the dialog. Have you just used to that? Or you move dialog closer or some other secret?

I believe in some software one doesn't even need to press tab — the next field is the preselected right value for the previous was defined.

ha! wait. IT does this already in some cases. Like in case of "Combine" Operation .... ooooh. It's when field accept multiple object it doesn't do it because it doesnt' know if I want to select more object to mirror. Alright. That's not an option then.

Hi,

The primary reason is that I have gotten used to this process and automated it.
I wouldn't mind a tabbed option being added, but I want to be able to keep my usual workflow.
I don't want to have to click through a chain of options to get to the field I want.

I want to be able to select it directly.
