If I export the mesh from Fusion to an .obj file while the texture is not visible, and then load it into Inventor, the texture is visible.

So I think it's some kind of setting in Fusion, but I can't find where it is.

Hi everyone,

I previously imported a mesh into Fusion 360 where the texture was displayed correctly (see first attachment). In that image, you can clearly see the part with its texture applied.

However, when I open the same file now, the texture is no longer visible. I also tried re-importing the original .obj files into Fusion 360, but the texture still does not appear.

What makes this even stranger is that new OBJ files are also affected. Any OBJ mesh I import now appears without its texture, even though these same files worked correctly before.

To verify the files themselves, I opened the OBJ files in Windows 3D Viewer, and the textures load and display correctly there. This suggests that the OBJ, MTL, and texture files are valid and that the issue may be specific to Fusion 360.

Could this be related to a recent Fusion 360 update, a changed setting, or another issue within Fusion? Everything was working fine yesterday, and I haven't intentionally changed any settings.

Has anyone experienced something similar or knows what might be causing this?

Thanks in advance!

Attachments:

Image 1: Mesh with texture visible (previously working)

Image 2: Same mesh without texture (current behavior)
