Your method is not very traditional but I guess it gets the job done. The lines in the body is caused by the way you sketched it. Model is attached.

Hi. I made a 3d sketch of my rough hand drawn sketch to 3d print. I'm new to 3d modeling and Fusion. I used 3d sketching to get the outline of my model. Now I can not figure it out how can I make it solid. I noticed Patch tool in Surface section, it slow and tedious process. I was wandering is it it or there is other way of doing it?

I provided .f3d file down below

Also, can I ask what is the traditional way of doing this model?

The normal method would be to create 2D sketches, with sketch constraints and dimensions, and then use the modeling tools to create solids from the profiles in the sketches. You probably would have more than one 2D sketch to build this model. I attached an example of a component where I used numerous sketches and modeling features to create it. Step through the timeline to see my method. It may help to expand the Sketches folder in the Browser so you can turn on and off the sketches as you move along.

Wow, thank you so much for such a detailed explanation. I got a lot of tricks from it. And yeah, for some reason I started using MM as a CM
