Is there any way to use parameters globally? I E. I was used to modeling in the hybrid workspace where my complete parameter list would control the complete model. Now if I use the intent driven design, I would like to use the parameters in the final assembly also for my parts. Is this possible?

Yes, you an create an assembly and parts that use a common parameter file to control everything. I created a video showing you the beginning processes and created the first component and the assembly using the process. You simply repeat the process for all the components you need. One important thing is to remember to update all references as you go along. I have found the use of Ctrl (Command) +B is sometimes needed to get successful updates. I have included the beginning model so you can look at the structure and maybe continue with it. I ZIPPED the file to attach to this post.

I am creating a platform 12ft. long, and I have multiple length platforms that use the same components. So, I will want to copy this platform once its complete. Will this master parameter list follow through even when I copy? Probably not. So, what would you do in that case?

Maybe Configurations but without seeing the actual model, I cannot reply specifically.
