That's why we don't pattern in sketches, we pattern the features.

Create one solid sweep then use the rectangular pattern from the create menu choosing the solid brep as the selection and feed the exact pattern information from the sketch pattern in the dialog box.

Edit: according to a picture you've attached, I noticed that you're changing the path of some curves to move out of the sketch plane, and if controling each sweep alone is what you're after, then you will have to do each sweep alone, not only that, but you'll have to break the link of the "sketch pattern" to be able to edit each curve alone, as it will automatically break once you edit one of them.

Hello everyone,

I’m in the process of modelling a circular array of rectangular profiles. This is roughly what it should look like:

I tried multiplying the path curves by a circular pattern first, but when I try to adjust the curves individually to achieve the desired look, as shown in the reference image, all the curves end up adjusting at the same time:

Ideally, I’d like to sweep a rectangle first and then adjust the solids, so that I don’t have to sweep all the profiles individually:

I’m looking forward to seeing how you’d go about solving it.

Thanks a lot and have a great week,

Nico

I attach my file, even if it is literally just 2 Curves.

Hi @SaeedHamza,

thanks for your answer!

Seems that I will have a look at scripting in F360, since this seems to be very simple in code.

Best,

Nico
