Parameter ideas required

I am looking for some help with parametric design.

I have a large rectangle, "A", which dimensions are driven by parameters.

I then draw another rectangle, "B", the size of this is changeable and will be the result of a sum/method I'm yet to find!?

I create a third rectangle, "C", which is "B" offset by 2mm. This relationship is constant.

I then create a coincident constraint between "A" and "C" at their bottom left corners.

What I am trying, and failing, to come up with is a sum or a parameter driven way to make rectangle "C" array and fit wholly inside of "A" a pre-determined a number of times.

Please note that "A" can always change and be to decimals as too will the number of zones in the x and y axis.

Ive read this a few times and Im not sure how clear it is! so here's some examples of what im looking to achieve

1. Variables. A = 200 x 200 Zones in X 2, zones in Y 2

2. Variables. A = 200 x 200 Zones in X 4, zones in Y 4.

3. Variables. A = 134 x 306 Zones in X 3, zones in Y 2

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

Why are you creating sketch pattern rather than feature pattern?

What are you attempting to model - do you have a picture of something similar that already exists in the real world?

Hello, thanks for taking the time to look.

sketch array, feature pattern, Ive been playing with both. But my issue is getting them to work with parameters

I didnt really have anything to send so I've just knocked up a quick model. The attached is what I'm looking to achieve, its a very simple thing just with endless options. The overall shape can change size and the number of extruded pockets can change, the quantity of these in the x and y axis will not necessarily be equal . What must remain constant is the 4mm wall thickness around them

Im hoping that when Im given a change of spec I can change a few parameters and fusion will do the work for me.
