What do you mean by preview? Unfortunately, they removed the local solver for simulations last year so all sims have to be done in the cloud.

I hope I can word this correctly

I'm trying to do a non linear simulation and was wondering if you could preview it before you solve... is that possible?

I'm a NX designer but completely new to fea studies and fusion

Its hard to explain .... can it kinda demo the simulation before pressing solve... that way you don't have that wait time

Unfortunately, the only way to know what will happen with the simulation will be to actually solve it.

There's no real way to preview FEA. If you want to get a rough idea faster you could try simplifying your model or simulation, this should make the cloud sim quicker, but that's about it.
If your simulation is taking an extremely long time there's a chance you need to look at simplifying the study to only include the key components and replace anything else with an equivalent point mass or load.
