Struggling to Loft 2 components

Hi All . very new to Fusion and I'm struggling to join 2 different sized circles using a Loft. I used it before on the same 2 components but when it came to printing , the loft part did not match the wall thickness of the 2 circles and it tried to print a very thin wall rather than a 4 mm thick wall .

Any advise will be appreciated

Create the hole through the center after lofting between cylinders?

Can you use Revolve instead of Loft?

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

Hi!

Try using revolve instead of loft.
Better sketch control, simple feature and more predictable result, comparing with loft.

Use loft on more organic or variable geometries between profiles.

Hi! There are multiple ways to create the shape. You may create Loft surface between the two circular profiles. Then use Thicken command to solidify the surface with a constant thickness value.

Thanks . The problem was that i could create the loft in the first place . but I eventually got it and used the 'thicken' function .

. Hopefully this is the correct File Type that you can view and modify ? So I managed to Loft the top and bottom together and printed it . The problem now is that the top wasn’t attached properly as it's too thin where it joins the Loft section . I'm still trying but any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi There . Thanks for the Help . File attached . I managed to create the Loft but when printed , the top flange detached because it was too thin where it meets the loft .

1. No!

2. share f3d file

File > export > save as f3d on local drive > attach to post

I already Attached the solution file in previous response Message 3, but you should attach your file here so that someone can explain why it didn't work as expected.
