That is within reach on this model.

There are variants which will have shape changes along the curve. For those I will still need a process to handle.

Laying out a series of construction planes and sketches with circles as a basis for lofting is another way, but I'd like to hear of a complete solution.

If fusion allowed Revolve to work curves that would be awesome!

Hi,

I am having trouble with the loft/sweep commands for this one. Please advise how you would make this profile (a bore) thru this part. It's centerline is evident, and the profile is as well.

Thanks.

Hi! This can be done by using Guide Rail Sweep (the rail and the path need to be tangentially continuous). I have modified the sketch so that the sharp corners are all rounded. For fluid processing design in general, rounded corners are usually preferred. Please take a look.

Many thanks!

Hi @ea425019,

The key to doing this in Fusion is that it will need to be multiple features to accomplish this for even more varied changes in the swept profiles, and will likely use sweeps, revolves, holes, and lofts to achieve this, as @TrippyLighting demonstrated.
If you have a specific scenario in mind, the community is more than happy to share some methods.

Here is an example of different features to accomplish what Trippy showed. I'm not advocating this method as the most efficient means of achieving your particular scenario, just that you can use a number of different tools/methods to get there.
