Fillet Added to Edge Not Selected 250108

Hello Fusion forum,

In the attached file there are two Components of
a chandelier rosette.

The cap of the rosette was complete except the cap
should have the edge between the bottom of the cap
and the sides of the cap filleted.

The filet is completed in the attached file.
The filet process ha developed two questions:

1. Is there a way of creating the filet without
selecting each of the twenty-four edges
individually? Fusion provides an arrow to show
which edge was the last one selected but even
with the arrow it easy to miss one of the two
dozen edges in the polygon which means the process must be started
over since once filleted it is not possible
to add a fillet that was overlooked.

2. But the more fatal error is when one clicks
OK, even though the screw holes were not selected for
filleting the screws holes are filleted as shown
in the attached file. How does one prevent
the screw holes from being filleted?

Order of operations.

Cut the Holes AFTER the Fillet - that way you can select the face (with all edges) in one pick without the Holes.

This is easily done.

Edit the Fillet Feature.

Ctrl select additional edges.

I simplified your sketch to a single polygon.

I changed some dimensions such that the parts fit together with a bit of clearance (not sure of your Design Intent since you did not model the parts in final position).

Bottom line - when you select a Face rather than an Edge you are selecting ALL of the edges of that face.

A quick way to select all the edges for applying the fillet is to use Edge Priority selection and your Left Click Window selection tool. I did not show it in the video, be sure to de-select the Edge Priority selection tool after you finish. Video will explain.
