I am trying to model a mechanism where a rigid connector slides simultaneously along two separate curved channels, as shown in the attached screenshot.

Current Setup:

Anchors: The the two channel slots are grounded.

Joints:

Left Slot: I applied a slide joint. (I've also tried pin-slot before)

Right Slot: I applied a Planar joint to keep it on the correct plane.

Contact Sets: "Enable All Contact" is activated.

Limits: No joint limits are currently applied. Also, I ensured the path is possible (i.e., it won't require the bar to extend nor contract)

The Problem: I cannot drag the connector along the path; it locks up immediately or behaves erratically. I have tried:

Changing the path geometry.

Removing the sliding joint (and keeping the planar + contacts)

Using Tangent relationships instead of Contact Sets.

My Question: What is the correct joint combination to allow a single rigid body to follow two non-parallel curved paths simultaneously? Do I need to use a specific "Follow Path" constraint or multiple Pin-Slot joints?

You will not be able to use "Animate Joint Relationship" but you will be able to drag the motion as shown in the Animated GIF. You cannot use Contact Sets for this. Pin-Slot as you had but then use Tangent Relationship for the curved slot. Model Attached.

If the curved slot were circular in nature, there may be a possible of Automatic Joint Animation.
